What to Expect

Small Groups – Sundays @ 9:15 am

When you arrive at South Hills, you will be warmly welcomed by our greeters. They will invite you to a selection of Small Groups. We also have a great team of trained and background-checked volunteers who serve in our Pre-K, Children’s and Student Ministries, with classes available for all ages!

Worship Service – Sundays @ 10:30 am

How do I get there?
South Hills Baptist Church is located at 7350 Granbury Road Fort Worth, TX 76123

Where do I park?
Guest parking is right by the main entrance and clearly marked, but feel free to park anywhere.

What should I wear?
We encourage you to come as you are. You will see some people dressed up; some dressed casually. We have no expectations for attire.

What is a Sunday service like?
Our worship services include worship in song, times of prayer, relevant Biblical teaching, and fellowship. You will likely be greeted by members of our church family before and after the service.

Where will my children go?
For those with children, newborn through age four, childcare is available during the service in clean, safe, kid-friendly facilities with trained and background-checked volunteers. Our greeters can direct you to the Pre-K Ministry area or directly into the worship center.

A Special Welcome to those with Children
Your children are welcome here. As we sing, pray, give, and listen, we want you and your children to know that this service belongs to them. Most Sundays, children ages four through 3rd grade are invited, but not required to participate in SHINE during the message. Learn more about SHINE on our Children’s Ministry page.

One Sunday each month, our children stay for the entire service. You are welcome to whisper instructions during the worship service or simply let them learn by following your example. If you and your child must leave the worship center for a moment, you are welcome to re-enter at any time, and if you need any help, please ask. All of our children are a gift to the Church, so we will pray for, protect, and encourage both them and you.

Additionally, we have a room for nursing mothers available. If you need a private place to be with your child during the service there is a room available just out the worship center that has a speaker so you can still hear the service. Our ushers will gladly show you where to find it.

Do you offer transportation?
The South Hills Bus Ministry runs every Sunday morning. If you need a ride on Sunday mornings, we'd be happy to come pick you up and see that you get home safely. Please contact the Church office by Thursday at noon to be placed on the transportation list. We don't want ANYTHING to stop you from attending, least of all something as small as needing a ride!
