Holy Week

Yesterday we experienced a great worship service under the theme of “Unending Love” as our choir, praise team, and band led us through songs, Scripture, and prayer. It was truly refreshing to begin Holy Week by celebrating the freedom we have in Jesus Christ as well as the continued opportunity to experience forgiveness through confession. I am so grateful to be reminded of the reality of God’s unending love daily through His provision of our every need. Thank you Aaron for leading with excellence in preparing for this meaningful service as well as the way you lead us in worship each week.

Aaron and Andy have been working diligently to provide us with another wonderful worship experience during Holy Week as we look forward to “Journey to the Cross” on Wednesday evening. We are hoping you will join us as we take a closer look at Jesus’ journey to the cross by going in small groups through various stations to read, think, reflect, and pray. All age groups will be participating in this event so there will be no other Wednesday evening activities this week. Childcare will be provided for children up through the age of Kindergarten.

I also hope you are making plans to worship with us on Good Friday as well at Clearfork. We are partnering with several great churches in our local community to provide a unique and meaningful worship experience that includes sharing the Lord’s Supper together. This event will take place at an outdoor venue, so remember to bring a chair, dress comfortable, and invite others to join us. We have been praying for the Lord to use this community worship service to unite us as churches here in the south Fort Worth area for the common purpose of pointing people to Jesus.

All of these great worship experiences will culminate on Easter Sunday morning as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ! We have a photo booth set up so you and your family can get some great pictures, so come early, be intentional to invite family and friends to join us, and pray daily for lives to be changed through the power of the Gospel. Holy Week is one of my absolute favorite weeks of the year and I am excited to experience it with so many of you in our church family.
