Missions & Outreach
At South Hills Baptist Church we sincerely focus on worshiping God and encouraging
fellow believers, but we also take seriously Jesus’ command to make disciples of all
nations. To that end, we reach out in the following ways to the community in
which we live, our state, our nation and whole world.
Who we give to:
Through our tithes and offerings we support the following cooperative missions organizations:
Tarrant Baptist Association
Baptist General Convention of Texas
Christian Community Assistance
We participate in three special offerings each year:
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions (December & January)
Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions (March & April)
Mary Hill Davis Offering for Texas Missions (September & October)
Women on Mission:
Women on Mission meet Tuesdays, at 10:00 am.
The schedule for the month is as follows:
•1st Tuesday -- Mission Activity
•2nd Tuesday -- Mission Focus
•3rd Tuesday -- Bible Study
•4th Tuesday -- Extended Love Visitation
Women on Mission is a missions organization for women (ages 18 and up) through which women pray for and give to missions, do missions, learn about missions, grow spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, and participate in the work of the church and the denomination. The purpose of all Women on Mission activities is that every person have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
