Have a Desire to Relate to God
God’s Holy Spirit moves people to want to have a relationship with God. God loves everyone and wants to have a relationship with you.
 
Have Faith in the Son of God
God sent His one and only Son to live a sinless life in the world, suffer and die on the cross because of the sinfulness of people, be resurrected from the dead, and be the mediator between human beings and God.
 
Have a Willingness to Receive God's Grace
Although deserved by no one, God offers the gift of salvation to everyone.
 
Have a Desire to Obey God
God's Holy Spirit continues to instruct people who have received the gift of salvation to obey the teachings found in the Bible. Being baptized, becoming a part of a congregation of believers, practicing the disciplines of the Christian life, and loving other people are examples of obedience.
