Our Community

South Hills Baptist Church has a long history of involvement in the community around us.  Since we moved into this neighborhood, we have made some good friends.  We look forward to making many more in the years to come.  Here are some of the ways we are involved in our community.
 
Community Involvement


Home Owners' Associations

Sunset Pointe Apartment Homes

We are starting up a relationship with Sunset Pointe Apartment Homes just down the street from us.  We will be starting up a monthly Bible study in the community room, and our bus ministry will be making a stop there on Sunday mornings.
 
Bus Ministry

The South Hills Bus Ministry runs every Sunday morning! If you need a ride to Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:15, the Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:30, or both, we’d be happy to come pick you up and see that you get home safely. Please call the church office to be put in touch with our Bus Ministry coordinator. We don’t want ANYTHING to stop you from attending South Hills, least of all something as small as needing a ride!

Christian Community Assistance

Our Church is involved with the Christian Community Assistance ministry that is a cooperative effort of over 40 churches in the southern part of Fort Worth to help those who are having financial, food and clothing difficulties. We have a CCA box where church members donate items that are in short supply. A number of our church members have served on the board of CCA. Christian Community Assistance is our primary way of helping those in need in our immediate vicinity.
